The contractor required a 4D simulation to show the installation sequencing of their Mechanical & Electrical equipment and associated works to the project team and client. By using Synchro Construction software, our 4D BIM team was able to assist our client with weekly/monthly updates so that progress could be shown at their clients 4D Planning/High Risk Activity (HRA) meetings.

The simulation assisted our client’s project team in many ways including;

• Identify programme acceleration opportunities
• Spatial planning of equipment layout and work teams
• Digitally rehearsing installation & sequencing of tanks/generator units in complex areas on the project
