Setting Out Engineer, Mons Belgium
This is a full-time on-site role for a Setting Out Engineer located in Mons, Belgium. The Setting Out Engineer will be responsible for daily tasks related to setting out gridlines and datums, 3D scanning and assiting projects teams with setting out requests.
Requirements:
➢ Experience in setting out, survey control, 3D Scanning. Minimum 2 years
➢ Knowledge and experience of industry-specific software and tools
➢ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
➢ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
➢ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or relevant field
➢ Commute to this job’s location
➢ Authorized to work in Belgium
Roles & Responsibilities:
➢ Strong people management skills with the ability to develop within a team
➢ Liaising directly with clients on project requirements
➢ Manage surveying requirements on both large and small projects
➢ Assisting Senior management with R&D into new innovative methods of surveying and
setting out within the geospatial sector
➢ Willing to travel to site when required (Ireland, UK & Europe)
