Geospatial Surveyor – Sligo
Tantek 4D is looking to employ an enthusiastic and hardworking surveyor to join their Geospatial Survey team in Sligo. Tantek 4D is one of Ireland, the UK and Europe’s most exciting Digital Engineering companies to emerge. The company carries out an expansive range of services within the Life Science, Data Centre, Technology and Construction sectors, throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Requirements:
➢ Strong experience using various surveying equipment including robotic total station and 3D laser scanners
➢ Knowledge of scan post-processing software
➢ Strong experience with setting out/survey control
➢ Ability to interpret construction drawings
➢ Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or similar
➢ Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
➢ Experience working with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
➢ Valid Safe pass card and manual handling training
➢ Possess full, clean driving license (IRE/EU)
➢ Must have required visas to work in Ireland
Roles & Responsibilities:
➢ Strong people management skills with the ability to develop within a team
➢ Manage surveying requirements on both large and small projects
➢ Provide technical support and assistance to BIM team
➢ Assisting Senior management with R&D into new innovative methods of surveying and setting out within the geospatial sector
➢ Willing to travel to site when required (Ireland, UK & Europe)
