Land Surveyor – Sligo
This is a full-time, on-site Land Surveyor role based in Sligo. The Land Surveyor will carry out field surveys, including topographic and building surveys, using GPS, total stations and 3D laser scanners to collect accurate geospatial data. Responsibilities include setting out and checking site levels, recording measurements, and ensuring data quality and completeness. The role involves processing survey data, producing clear drawings, models, and reports, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and digital engineering teams to support project delivery. The Land Surveyor will also follow health and safety procedures, maintain equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement in survey methods and workflows.
Requirements:
➢ Strong land surveying background with skills in Land Surveying and Surveying across construction and infrastructure projects.
➢ Proficiency in Topographic Surveys, including site measurements, level runs, and mapping of existing conditions.
➢ Hands-on experience with Total Station, GPS and 3D Laser scanning equipment and related survey instruments, including calibration and basic troubleshooting.
➢ Experience or familiarity with Building Surveying, including as-built surveys, dimensional checks, and internal/external building measurements.
➢ Relevant qualification in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
➢ Ability to use survey and CAD/BIM software to process data and produce accurate drawings and digital models.
➢ Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and commitment to health and safety standards on-site.
➢ Effective communication skills, ability to work as part of a team, and a willingness to travel to project sites when required.

➢ Possess full, clean driving license (IRE/EU)
➢ Must have required visas to work in Ireland
Roles & Responsibilities:
➢ Strong people management skills with the ability to develop within a team
➢ Manage surveying requirements on both large and small projects
➢ Provide technical support and assistance to BIM team
➢ Assisting Senior management with R&D into new innovative methods of surveying and setting out within the geospatial sector
➢ Willing to travel to site when required (Ireland, UK & Europe)
