Tantek 4D are looking to employ an experienced Project Co-Ordinator to join their BIM team in Dublin. The company carries out an expansive range of services within the Architectural, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AECO) industry, throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe.


The Project Coordinator (AEC) – Document Control and Common Data Environment (CDE) Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating document control processes and CDE management within Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) projects. While some experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) is beneficial, it is not a mandatory requirement. The role will focus on efficient project documentation, collaboration, and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Document Control

Develop and implement document control processes and procedures for the project.
Manage and organise project documentation, ensuring version control, proper naming conventions, and secure storage.
Develop and implement document control processes and procedures for the project, including operations and maintenance manuals coordination.
Coordinate the collection, organisation, and dissemination of operations and maintenance manuals from project stakeholders.
Ensure proper formatting, accuracy, and completeness of operations and maintenance manuals.
Oversee the distribution, tracking, and retrieval of project documents, including operations and maintenance manuals, to relevant stakeholders.

Common Data Environment (CDE) Management

Implement and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) for the project, utilising platforms such as BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and others, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project-specific requirements.
Maintain and update the CDE with accurate and up-to-date project information.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective data sharing and accessibility within the CDE.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) Support

Provide support to the project team with BIM-related tasks, including model co-ordination, clash detection, and data extraction.
Collaborate with the BIM team to ensure accurate and timely BIM model updates and revisions.
Assist in BIM-related activities, including model reviews and basic troubleshooting.

Project Coordination and Communication

Coordinate project activities, including meetings, deadlines, and milestones, to ensure smooth project progression.
Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, contractors, and consultants to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Provide timely and accurate project status updates and reports to project stakeholders.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

Monitor project processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct periodic quality checks to verify document accuracy, adherence to standards, and consistency within the CDE.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or BIM related field.
Some experience in document control and/or CDE management within AEC projects.
Familiarity with BIM concepts and tools (beneficial but not mandatory).
Strong understanding of AEC industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
