Geospatial Surveyor – Dublin
Tantek 4D are looking to employ an experienced geospatial surveyor to join their surveying team. Tantek 4D is one of Ireland, the UK and Europe’s most exciting digital engineering companies to emerge. The company carries out an expansive range of services within the Architectural, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AECO) industry, throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Requirements:
➢ Degree in in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or similar
➢ Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
➢ Strong experience with robotic total stations and 3D laser scanners.
➢ Knowledge of scan post-processing software (desired but not essential)
➢ Strong experience with setting out/survey control
➢ Ability to interpret construction drawings
➢ Experience working with Autocad, Civil 3D and Navisworks
➢ Valid Safe pass card and manual handling training
➢ Possess full, clean driving license (IRE/EU)
➢ Must have required visas to work in Ireland
Roles & Responsibilities:
➢ Strong people management skills with the ability to develop within a team
➢ Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative when required
➢ Willing to develop skills on a variety of the latest technology and software
➢ Provide support and assistance to BIM/VDC team as required
➢ Assisting management with R&D into new innovative methods of surveying and setting out
within the geospatial sector
➢ Willing to travel to site when required (Ireland, UK & Europe)
